An office fruit delivery could help you stock up for a lunchtime picnic, which a newspaper has suggested is a great activity to undertake during the spring months.
The Metro has noted that as the bank holiday weekend approaches, more people are taking to their local area’s green spaces for an alfresco meal.
It suggests taking salads and apples on a trip – although a range of fruits such as bananas, kiwis, strawberries and pears could also be added to a hamper.
"The picnicking season has arrived," the news provider asserts. "The city rolls out its Tupperware bowls, folding chairs and fizzy wines in [its] parks."
It also suggests having an outdoor feast with a "twist" – eating foods influenced by the Middle East.
Lunchbox-fillers such as veggie burgers, vine leaf rolls, white tabbuleh – which is a Lebanese dish similar to hummus – are highlighted in the article.
The NHS advises that high-fat midday meals can affect concentration in the workplace – an office fruit basket could be a great way of avoiding these unhealthy choices.
