Laying on fruit at work can help create a great office environment, it has been asserted.
In an article titled Improving the Quality of Your Workplace, the Dynamic Business website noted that offering incentives to people can improve the quality of their commercial output.
Doing this can "go a long way in maintaining high staff morale," it said.
"Why not have a company breakfast once a week with a platter of fresh fruit, juices and croissants to perk everyone up for the busy day of work ahead?" author Jessica Stanic wrote.
Promoting a healthy work and life balance was also highlighted in her column – she claimed this can "increase productivity".
Ms Stanic also suggested regular performance recognition sessions can make staff feel "valued".
Keeping up regular two-way feedback was also mentioned in the report – including implementing an "open-door policy" to allow people to get their points across.
Last month, the BBC reported on how a new Fit Business programme improved the wellbeing of Unilever’s employees.
Among the key tactics used was increasing the frequency of fruit deliveries, while offering guidance and support with exercise and fitness plans.
