Chances are you head to the office fruit delivery because you want to eat a healthy snack while you’re ‘in the zone’ at work.
Something like strawberries from the office fruit basket are fantastic in a fast-paced office environment, as they contain potassium which helps with the transmission of nerve impulses in the body.
New research from Lighterlife shows that not all Britons are as health conscious as office fruit fans.
On average, Brits spend almost £1,000 each year on junk food, the research found.
That’s the equivalent of wasting more than £17 every single week on chocolate, biscuits, crisps, soft drinks and alcohol.
Some 81 per cent of Britons don’t just satisfy their junk food cravings at the supermarket either – they also buy additional top-up snacks throughout the week.
Instead of turning to unhealthy food options when you’re hankering after something sweet, go to the office fruit box and boost your immune system with some vitamin C-rich office fruitstrawberries.
