Everyone has bad days at work when they can feel their stress levels rising and it seems that the solution may be as simple as reaching for the office fruit basket.
A recent article for the News Shopper highlighted that when people are facing tough times they should be sure to maintain a tip-top condition to take on any challenges thrown at them.
It added that when people are stressed they can often rely on stodgy unhealthy comfort foods but in reality this can just create more problems by making people feel sluggish and lazy.
Instead, the news provider suggested that people try and eat a balanced diet which is plentiful in minerals and vitamins and does not contain foods which can act as blocks to nutrients being absorbed.
So, if you are feeling tense at work, ditch your chocolate bars and crisps and reach into the office fruit basket for a pear, apple or banana, all of which contain a variety of minerals and are great for boosting energy.
