An office fruit delivery in London could be one way of making sure staff eat enough fibre, which has been highlighted by Kellogg’s.
The firm has launched a new campaign to encourage people to include more roughage in their diets, explaining how it can be beneficial for weight management.
It has joined up with Bonci to create the ‘fiberpedia’ – an online report filled with useful facts and figures.
Key information about heart health and nutrition absorption is outlined in the document.
The firms have also conducted a survey, which found 70 per cent of respondents want to eat more whole grains.
Vice-president of global nutrition for Kellogg’s Nelson Almeida said: "[We are] taking a leadership role in helping consumers understand how to get more fibre in their diets. Cereal is a great way to do so."
Newcastle University dietician Dr Amelia Lake recently suggested adding fruit to porridge could be a great way start to the day in an article for the Sunday Sun.
