Once you’ve been sitting at your desk for a while, you might want to head to the office fruit basket to give yourself a break.
There are so many tasty office fruits on offer that you could be hard-pushed to decide what to eat.
Do you take an apple to help boost your vision after staring at a computer screen all day?
Or, do should you eat a banana from the office fruit box to help boost your energy levels?
The latter office fruit may actually be beneficial if you’re suffering from pain in your body after spending a while sitting in the office.
They contain magnesium, which many people are deficient in, according to Ursula Arenas who told the Daily Mail that a lack of magnesium could lead to muscle cramps.
She said the mineral was "crucial" for the transmission of messages from the nerves to muscles in the body.
"Our diets tend not to be very magnesium-rich because foods such as fast food, fizzy drinks, crisps, biscuits and refined grains are very low in magnesium," she told the news provider.
Bananas are ten per cent magnesium, so they’re the perfect office fruit to have if you’re struggling to concentrate due to cramping legs at work.
