Fruitful Office donates fruit to British Red Cross fundraising event

British Red Cross thank you letterOn May 14th 2010, Fruitful Office donated fruit to help the British Red Cross in their “Call My Bluff” fundraising wine event.

The British Red Cross managed to raise £8,573 (net) through this event, which is a great result!

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. The money raised through events like these help them to continue their vital work.

Niels: “Our quality is our unique selling point, along with our environmental credentials and our market position. We have made a name for ourselves and we get a lot of business from client recommendations, so that’s worked well for us… It is quite competitive but many of our clients have actually come to us from other companies, where they have not been happy with the quality of fruit provided.”

For every 1 OFFICE FRUIT BASKET or OFFICE FRUIT BOX we deliver, we plant 1 FRUIT TREE.

Deforestation is a huge problem in Malawi, and growing new fruit trees helps to educate communities about trees and their economic value. In the three months from January to March 2010, Fruitful Office clients planted over 16,000 Guava and Papaya trees and over 116,000 trees have been planted in total!

In the three months from October to December 2009, Fruitful Office clients planted over 14,000 Guava and Papaya trees and almost 100,000 trees have been planted in total!

April - September Tree Planting Update For every 1 OFFICE FRUIT BASKET or OFFICE FRUIT BOX we deliver, we plant 1 FRUIT TREE.

Deforestation is a huge problem in Malawi, and growing new fruit trees helps to educate communities about trees and their economic value. In the six months from April to September 2009, Fruitful Office clients planted almost 30,000 Guava and Papaya trees and over 85,000 trees have been planted in total!

Fruit donation to Cares Challenge Day

The fruit helped to keep the on-site team going during their volunteer work for the Holy Family Primary School project.

Fruitful Office attends npower’s Wellbeing Roadshow

Fruitful Office was present at RWE npower’s first ever Wellbeing Roadshow, at the company’s HQ in Swindon.

npower’s Weelbeing Manager commented: “The atrium was vibrant, interactive and fun on Thursday , and this is exactly what I had hoped to achieve. In the current economic climate, keeping employee wellbeing and boosting morale is never easy, but with all of your individual talents, I believe we made a great team, and achieved what we set out to do.”

Deforestation is still a huge problem in Malawi, Africa, where forests are burned down in the belief that it will improve agriculture in the following year.

Although not the entire solution, growing new fruit trees helps to educate communities about trees and their economic value. Fruitful Office clients planted over 13,000 fruit trees in this most recent 3-month period, and over 56,000 fruit trees in total so far.

Fruitful Office attends Health at Work 2009

For the 2nd year running, Fruitful Office literally ‘set up stall’ at the Health and Wellbeing at Work exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham (24th and 25th February). The exhibition was well attended and it is promising to see HR and occupational health professionals warming to the benefits of having fruit in the workplace.

Many companies are continuing to join the Fruitful Office team to beat the credit crunch: providing fruit to staff is a powerful, yet very low-cost way of motivating your team.

Fruitful Office donates bananas to The Prince’s Charities

The Prince's FoundationFruitful Office donated bananas to the Children & the Arts’ Create-a-Quest finale, which took place on Monday 9th February.

The finale was a great success with children from all over the country coming together to share the work they have been doing over the past few months.

We were told the children really enjoyed getting their banana!
