At Fruitful Office we are committed to continuously improving our environmental credentials as we grow!

TREE planting

Together with Ripple Africa (a UK based charity) we are carrying out an ongoing fruit tree planting programme: Every Fruit Basket and Fruit Box we sell - we plant 1 fruit tree. This helps to mitigate the effects of global warming, deforestation and provides an income support to local communities in Malawi, Africa.

FRUIT sourcing

We source most of our fruit from the UK and Western Europe to help support UK producers and minimize fuel emissions from long-haul transportation
We NEVER buy air-freighted fruit

BASKET service

Eco-friendly rotation of baskets: on each delivery day we deliver FULL baskets and collect the EMPTY baskets to re-use them. This avoids packaging wastage with each delivery
Eco-efficient deliveries: we operate eco-friendly delivery routes by minimizing the duplication of van paths
Eco-efficient van fleet: at present, we are converting our fleet of vans to LPG. LPG is more eco-friendly as it emits less harmful greenhouse gases than diesel. We are currently also looking at electrical vans for our fleet

BOX service

Our Fruit Boxes are produced from 80% recycled paper and 20% managed forests. They are 100% recyclable and we would encourage you to do so!

Office policy

Minimizing paper print-outs at Fruitful Office! This includes sending out our monthly invoices to our clients electronically in pdf. format
